“I hate the police. Given the experiences I’ve had through the years, I can’t imagine what a black guy goes through.”
I’m obviously outraged by Trump’s rhetoric, and I worry most of all about how Muslims will feel in their own country.”
“The more white people vote for Trump, the more black people will suffer. I really believe that.”
“He’s just a bad man (Trump), a morally reprehensible human being.”
Kamala Harris is vetting potential VP running mates. Above were a few statements a potential candidate has made in the past. The vetting team likes what they see (perhaps “hate the police” is a bit too far left?) He comes from working clas stock and as a white male, he would be an asset, perhaps influencing some independents to vote for Kamala. The above communications werefrom texts and emails sent to a close friend who is transgender. He is a compelling candidate But wait, the potential V.P. pick is already a V.P. pick, and his name is (you guessed it), J.D.Vance. WTF?
Let’s fast forward a few years.
Women (like Kamala Harris) are “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
Women with children should “absolutely” get a bigger say in how a democracy functions and more voting power; he also said that “childless Americans should pay higher taxes.”
When Vance was running for Senate he spoke of a hypothetical situation in which Ohio banned abortion and “every day,” George Soros, the liberal financier, sent “a 747 to Columbus to load up disproportionately Black women to get them to go have abortions in California.”
“Do you need some federal response to prevent it from happening because it’s really creepy?” he asked. “I’m pretty sympathetic to that, actually.”

From someone concerned about the treatment of black people in America to “disproportionately Black women” being sent to California for abortions? From someone whose close friend was transgender to someone who believes in the patriarchy, that women have more value when they have children? To concern about Muslims to an assault on immigrants. From Trump the “morally reprehensible human being” to his running mate? As you said J.D., it’s really creepy.”
Vance is an anti-abortion hardliner who has advocated for “abortion to be illegal nationwide” and surveilling women’s menstrual cycles to prevent them from getting abortions, and has said he is fine with forcing a woman to stay pregnant even if she was a victim of rape or incest.
We have two men, in The Don and Vance, who are very clear in their misogyny and racism, running against a Black South Asian Women. The Don and Vance, and the 2025 project, which they embrace, champions a White Male Christian America; Harris champions a country of inclusion, where all people are treated equally. Talk about the battle for the soul of America. The fact that in 2024 it is still possible for America to be put in the hands of White Male Supremacists is disheartening, but reveals a sobering truth about us as a nation. The party of The Don is running a campaign which promotes turning back the clock on rights for women and other civil rights. This is clearly seen in their Project 2025. The amazing thing about this public document is that it is clear for everyone to see. Here’s what we are going to do and try to stop us.
Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts said in a podcast interview that the nation is “in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”
The Don swears he knows little about the 2025 project. That’s just another lie as it was written by The Don’s loyalists with him in mind.
As for Vance, he wrote the foreword for the upcoming book by Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation. Rumor has it that The Don is desperately trying to have a Democrat’s name replace Vance’s on the foreword.
Here’s what The Heritage Foundation’s nearly 900-page policy book, titled Mandate for Leadership: A Conservative Promise, promises.
They promise to severely inhibit the federal government’s protections around reproductive rights, LGBTQ and civil rights, and immigration, as well as its climate change efforts.
The plan promises to reinstate Schedule F, a Trump-era executive order that makes federal employees fireable at-will, stripping tens of thousands of employees of civil service protections. Translation: only those that pass The Don’s loyalty test will be hired.

They promise to work to ban abortion and products like Mifepristone and wants to restrict access to Plan B. This is the same wing of the party, cultural reactionaries, that targeted I.V.F. treatments.
The guide promises to create a “pro-life task force to ensure that all of the department’s divisions seek to use their authority to promote the life and health of women and their unborn children.”
It promises to promote an agenda that “married men and women are the ideal, natural family structure because all children have a right to be raised by the men and women who conceived them.” Further, a program within the Health and Human Services Department should “maintain a biblically based, social science-reinforced definition of marriage and family.”
It promises to weaken environmental regulations and dissolve the Department of Education.

The agenda seeks to bring a push by conservatives to target diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, initiatives in higher education to the executive branch by wiping away a slew of DEI-related positions, policies and programs and calling for the elimination of funding for partners that promote DEI practices.
It is very clear what The Don wants to do in 2025. We need all hands on deck to stop him.
