No shit Don. Yep, seven million people were out on the streets exercising their constitutional right to congregate and protest. In all, there were over 2,500 places of protest across the U.S. Of course, The Republicans attempted to gin up fear about the protests.
Here’s smarmy Mike Johnson:
“We call it the ‘Hate America’ Rally that’ll happen Saturday. Let’s see who shows up for that. I bet you you see pro-Hamas supporters, I bet you you’ll see antifa types, I bet you you’ll see Marxists in full display, the people who don’t want to stand and defend the foundational truths of this republic. And we do.”
Mike I’m truly disappointed in you. Why stop at pro-Hamas? Why not members of Hamas?
And what are these foundational truths, Mr. Johnson? Freedom of speech? Oh, only for those things that you agree with? Sending the military into cities that oppose The Don, claiming they are shitholes where anarchy reigns? Using the justice department to indict your enemies? Targeting black and brown people and placing them in detention centers and deporting them without due process? Having the Secretary of Defense control what the press can write about the military?
Mr. Johnson, you and your cronies are as accountable for destroying our democracy as The Don is. You are complicit in allowing The Don to shit all over the constitution.
The Don was enraged at the protests but tried to downplay them.
“I looked at the people. They’re not representative of this country, and I looked at all the brand new signs paid for. I guess it was paid for by Soros and other radical left lunatics. The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective, and the people were whacked out. When you look at those people, those are not representative of the people of our country.”

But what did you really think of the protests Don? What did you really think of Americans of all walks of life, from cities to rural communities, of all ethnicities and races, of ex-military, grandmothers, and soccer moms gathering peacefully to protest your dismantling of our democracy and power grab to create an autocracy?
You did what? You created an AI video where you are flying a plane over the demonstrations and bombing them with shit? You took a big old dump on those exercising their freedom of speech.
Step up folks and see something you’ve never seen before. Step right up and see a president of the United States of America drop feces from a plane on its own people. You won’t believe your eyes, so step up.
The depressing part of this is that we have become so used to his shit that people are barely outraged. I mean isn’t A.I. just so cool? Can’t you take a joke? The Don is just shittin you.
That was one big shit he dumped on us. But that’s not his first big shit. Everyday he takes a dump on something. One day it’s Mexico, another day it’s Greenland. One day it’s James Comey, another it’s Letitia James. Many days it is continuing to shit on everything related to diversity, attempting to white-wash any history that tells the truth about our country. You shit on judges by defying their rulings. You shit on congress, who you see as worthless. You shit on tens of thousands of federal workers by indiscriminately firing them for no cause. You shit on science; shit on universities through extortion. You seem to relish shitting on people’s capacity to afford healthcare by not negotiating with Democrats, almost relishing the government shutdown. You shit on poor countries who received life-saving aid from the government, resulting in thousands of deaths. You shit on Americans everywhere who are struggling to pay their bills, buy groceries, and afford housing when you start the construction of a 90,000 square foot ballroom at a cost of $200 million. How many bags of groceries would that translate into, Don? To do this, The Don literally is tearing down a part of the White House. If that’s not a metaphor for your desire to destroy our government and replace it with you as king, what is?

From a psychological perspective, it is fascinating to watch The Don degrade and stain himself while he does this. The more degraded and defiled he feels, the more he needs to shit on others in order to free himself from these feelings. At his core, The Don is a deeply humiliated little boy who restores himself by projecting all of his darkest feelings onto others. Those around him smell his “shit” but they tell him it smells like roses because they too afraid to tell him that he stinks and fearing he will turn on them and shit all over them. It is incredible to watch grown intelligent men and women in his party bend the knee in terror.
So I guess we can call it an all-out “shit show”?
My greatest fear is that The Don’s desire for absolute power and his insatiable need to punish those who oppose him will unhinge him more and more. Between the sycophancy of Republican legislatures, collusion of the Supreme Court, which is poised to gut the remaining part of the Voting Rights Act, attempts to get more states to follow Texas in gerrymandering districts to favor Republican candidates, the hiring of 2020 election deniers to oversee election integrity and increasing military presence across the nation, he is building a machine that will steamroll American democracy. Yes, it’s a shit show. The seven million who marched was a glorious thing. In the protest march I was at someone would yell out:
“What does democracy look like” and our refrain: “This is what democracy looks like!”
What we need is more people who are on the sidelines to finally get what is happening. We need religious leaders, military leaders, corporate leaders to raise their voices. Next time we protest let’s have 14 million out there. Then 20, then 30 million. There are no kings in this country. IT’s time for people to realize that they are being shit on and stop pretending it doesn’t stink so much. It does. And the stench will only become more putrid as The Don’s unbridled megalomania grows.
