Some Just Die

Despite The Don and his attack dog Pete Hegseth’s “shit happens” approach to the war in Iran, we are at a very scary moment. The Don, enamored with his triumph in Venezuela and his recent bombings of Iran’s nuclear facility, believed he could bring Iran to its knees this time. I imagine a few people in the military mentioned the differences, and dangers involved, including Iran’s ability to shut down the Strait of Hormuz which would cause economic chaos around the world. But The Don (and Heggie) live in their own grandiose and delusional world of “Call of Duty” where the good guys kick ass and bad guys say “uncle.” Flippantly saying that the tankers should just “show some guts” exemplifies this disconnection from reality.

It turns out that Iran isn’t Venezuela, which pisses him off. He wanted to name the new leader and rumor has it that The Don told Lindsey Graham that it was beyond cool to anoint new leaders, that it was even more titillating than getting a blowjob from one of Epstein’s trafficked underage girls. Lindsey was not interested in hearing about those acts, and was more focused on drafting boys into the military to fight the war. Graham stated that South Carolinians should “send their sons and daughters over to the middle east.”

Though the sexual assault allegation is unproven, The Post and Courier, a newspaper in Charleston, South Carolina, was able to corroborate details of the victim’s life. The teenager was interviewed four times by the FBI in 2019, detailing abuse she faced at the hands of Trump and Epstein.

Just 13 when the incident occurred, she reported that The Don said, “Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be,” before unzipping his pants. In her testimony, she claimed she bit The Don’s dick when he tried to shove it into her mouth. As gross as it is tostate this, it needs to be said. We need the public to hear it over and over again. We need the truth. There is no doubt in my mind that she was not the only one of Epstein’s “girls” that he sexually assaulted.

The Don’s denial of the event holds little water. He denied raping Jean E. Carroll and wound up being found guilty in a civil lawsuit and was ordered to pay her $83 million dollars in damages. Many others have claimed to have been sexcually assaulted by The Don.

There is a connection between The Don’s behavior with this 13 year old victim and the war in Iran. The Don believes he should be able to do whatever he wants with women. Look no further than the “Access Hollywood” video. where he said: “I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.” The Don sees himself as the ultimate alpha-male who can get what he wants, whenever he wants it. As president and with immunity from the Supreme Court the sky is the limit. To put it bluntly, he takes great pleasure in ramming things down peoples’ and countries’ throats. Look at his tariffs. Look at his attack on universities. Look at his campaign of retribution against perceived enemies. He wants everyone to cower, get on their knees and do his bidding. His deep insecurities are compensated for with an insatiable quest to wield his power. He literally and figuratively wants to fuck the world!

Turns out that Iran is not the cowering type. They don’t do blowjobs. In a fuck you to The Don, the Iranians named Mojtaba Khamenei as their leader, who is considered more brutal than his father. The Don was furious that he wasn’t involved in picking Iran’s new leader.

The Don’s arrogance has caused the Iranian government to double down in its defiance. Ali Larijani, Iran’s top national security official, posted the “Strait of Hormuz will either be a Strait of peace and prosperity for all,” or it will be a Strait of defeat and suffering for warmongers.”

What The Don and his advisors don’t understand (or underestimate) is that the Iranians can play the long game. They are a theocratic state- dying in the name of Allah is an honor, the ultimate sacrifice. For the leaders, this is not only an existential battle about survival of the country, but a battle for preservation of Islam.

The Don has put our country in a perilous position. Even after two weeks of relentless bombing, there is still no cohesive explanation for why we are doing this. There is no exit strategy. According to The Don, he could stop at any time and declare victory, or he could keep going. To do what? Send in troops on a suicide mission to try to get the nuclear containers buried deep in the ground guarded by elite military forces? Now that’s a plan.

The support for this is diminishing every day. Many Republicans are not only angry that we are in a war they don’t support, nor understand, but are furious because we are spending enormous sums of money on the war rather than spending it on Americans who are struggling. So much for “America First”.

Some right-wing media stars are expressing their displeasure. Tucker Carlson said the war was  “absolutely disgusting and evil.” Joe Rogan that the war in Iran was “crazy” and had left Americans feeling “betrayed”. Steve Bannon, Megyn Kelly, Matt Walsh, Alex Jones, and others have also lashed out against the administration.

Between the handling of the Epstein files, an economy not working for many Americans (only to get worse because of rising gas prices), and the war more and more supporters of The Don are disillusioned- there are fissures in the monolith that is the cult of Don. Will the crack be deep enough? Only time will tell. But the American people are reeling from it all. How scared should we be about economic chaos: very. How scared should we be about a civil war in the Middle East that will destabilize the entire region: very. The Iranians have labeled the war as the “Madman War.” They got that right. How scary is it that the person leading the charge is a madman: very.
