Could this be the moment where more Americans who voted for The Don finally jump ship? It appears that Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, Megyn Kelly, Candice Owens, Alex Jones and others finally have. These dishonest conspiracy theorists, who worked hard to get him elected, despite his attempt to undo a free and fair election in 2020, finally decided they can’t do it any longer? Is this their come-to-Jesus moment?
Daddy lost his mind. Daddy died. I can’t recognize him. Where is The Don I know and loved? Maybe he has been hypnotized by Netanyahu; in other words, it’s Israel’s fault we are in this mess in Iran- blame the Jews, a scary and sadly too often refrain.. Perhaps this is a case of the “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”?

Enjoy this scene.
Don’t get me wrong: Any person with influence, who supported The Don, and is now turning sour on him, is something to celebrate. I guess they drew the line at “annihilate an entire civilization?” But this isn’t a true mea culpa. There is no true contrition. This is about recognizing that the ship is going down and ensuring they can mitigate the numbers of casualties to their listeners. The advertisers are watching. Time for the grand pivot. The people they convinced to vote for this incompetent sheister, this malignant narcissist are angry and feel like they got a sucker punch to the gut; they are letting their beloved influencers here it.
These influencers are immoral collaborators. They attributed all kinds of genius and greatness to him in order to remain intertwined like a helix. Heinous and destructive acts are attributed to the great strategist playing 5 dimensional chess.
Graft and corruption doen’t bother them. For most, masked ICE patrol rounding up children, was fine. Dismantling USAIDS, which will in result in millions of deaths, across the globe didn’t upset their sense of morality. As mentioned, trying to overturn an election, no biggie. Taking healthcare away from people, well, whatever. I could go on and on. They supported a racist, homophobe, misogynist- a man convicted of rape in the E. J. Carroll civil lawsuit and who knows what unconscionable acts he perpetrated in the world of Jeffrey Epstein. They supported a vile, vituperative, carnival barker who suffers from delusions of grandeur that has terrified and destabilized the world while making us its laughing stock. Here’s the Prime Minister of Germany:
The bottom line for these leeches is the number of clicks and viewers they have. Take Megyn Kelly, who asked a question The Don disapproved of during a debate during the 2016 election. His response was to attack her: “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.” The misogyny and baseness was exposed for all to see. But Megyn, like many others, found it in her heart to forgive and embrace him because his devotees would certainly choose him over her. The fact that The Don treated Kelly that way, in front of millions of viewers, should have horrified people, particularly women. Why it didn’t, still blows my mind. (That’s for another piece.)
These influencers cashed in playing on the gullibility and resentment of millions of Americans to bring The Don over the finish line. But The Don’s star is diminishing. He’s falling asleep at meetings, his ankles are swollen (medical issues?), his erratic Truth Social posts in the middle of the night have ramped up; he’s even taken on the Pope, alienating many of his Catholic supporters. He started a war in Iran-despite sage advice against it-and doesn’t know how to end it. He keeps saying he has all the cards, but actually Iran has more. The grandiosity that led him to believe the war would be a cakewalk has backfired; surprised by the Iranians taking control of the Strait of Hormuz is further proof of his incompetency and delusional nature. One viral Iranian rap addressing Trump calls the conflict “a trap you couldn’t see. Welcome to the graveyard of your vanity.” (I wish I had made that up!) Here’s the entire music video:
Recent polling finds that 55% of Americans say The Don should be impeached for a third time. Another 37% opposed and another 8% said they were unsure. The Verasight/Strength in Numbers poll found even 21% of Republican voters and voters who supported Trump in 2024 support him being impeached.
Yet, Republican lawmakers stand by him. I guess for them, threatening to wipe out an entire civilization, is still not a bridge too far. They continue to support a delusional and demonic man for fear of his reprisals. They are a lost cause. They are tied to the masthead and have made their deal with the devil.

Hopefully, more and more of his voters will finally figure out what has been clear from the very beginning: The Don is only interested in one thing, and it ain’t them. People were led to believe that The Don was going to address their economic woes. Well, we see how that is going. No wars? America First? You know what’s first? Building ballrooms. Putting his name on every building he can.; now he wants to put his picture on passports! He and his family raking in billions of dollars in shady deals, while Americans can’t get food on the table. The man who said “I alone can fix it,” has turned out to be the one who broke it. His off-the-cuff brashness isn’t so electric anymore. Few are laughing at his jokes. Many think he is suffering from cognitive decline. People are just getting tired of all the bravado and bullshit.
These glaring deficits and dangers have always been there for anyone to see but as they say: You see what you want to see. America has paid, and will continue to pay a heavy price for their blindness. The influencers have cheered him on despite what was right in front of their eyes as well. As opposed too their followers, they know how disturbed The Don is; they know how destructive he is. But the sound of ca-ching is music to their ears. The electricity they feel coursing through their veins from their power and influence intoxicates them.
The impeachment polls gives hope. Sadly, the chances of a conviction after impeachment by the senate is remote. We are stuck with this destructive force for quite some time. I’m sure he and his cronies have a number of tricks up their sleeve regarding the midterm elections. As we know, this is not a man who handles defeat, and is not a man afraid to take everyone with him. But no denying that he is being seen for what he is rather than what he wants you to see. Maybe these influencers, despite their disingenuousness, can help bring him down.
